Ensure Care – Service Policies & Terms

1. Payments & Refund Policy

All services are private-pay and must be secured in advance via deposit or full payment, as outlined in the client service agreement.

Due to the nature of reserving dedicated caregiver/nursing time, payments are non-refundable once services have been scheduled and confirmed.

Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis in the event that Ensure Care is unable to fulfill agreed-upon services.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or schedule changes.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service

Same-day cancellations or failure to be available for service may result in full forfeiture of payment

Ensure Care will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests based on availability.

3. Scope of Services

Ensure Care is a Florida-licensed homemaker and companion service providing non-skilled, supportive care.

Services may include:

Post-operative support and monitoring

Assistance with activities of daily living

Medication reminders (no administration unless permitted by law)

Mobility and safety support

Care coordination and communication

Ensure Care does not replace physician care, emergency services, or home health agencies providing skilled medical treatment.

4. Privacy & Confidentiality

Ensure Care is committed to protecting client privacy and handling all personal information with discretion.

Client information is used solely for the purpose of delivering services and coordinating care.

We do not sell or share personal information with third parties, except as required for care coordination or by law.

All reasonable safeguards are taken to maintain confidentiality.

5. Terms & Conditions

By booking services with Ensure Care, clients agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information regarding care needs

Maintain a safe environment for staff delivering services

Comply with agreed-upon schedules, payment terms, and care plans

Ensure Care reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if:

Client needs exceed the scope of services

The environment is deemed unsafe

Policies or agreements are not upheld

6. Liability & Emergency Protocol

Ensure Care provides supportive, non-emergency care services. In the event of a medical emergency, 911 will be contacted immediately.

Clients acknowledge that Ensure Care is not responsible for outcomes related to underlying medical conditions or failure to follow medical advice.
